CHARACTERISTICS :

Silver solder with lowest possible melting and very good flow characteristics. Very high capillary flow properties. Joints brazed with Getig 9306 on Cu Zn 20 Al, Cu Ni 10 Fe and Cu Ni 30 Fe have given good service results in seawater (Marine code VG 81245, section 3).

APPLICATIONS:

Capillary brazing on steels and stainless steels, malleable cats iron, copper and copper alloys, nickel alloys and hard metals; also for joints between the metals named above. Apparatus construction, precision tools, joints on copper conductors, refrigeration plants, electrical industry, fittings manufacture, installation works, series production etc.

Instruction for Use:

Clean the soldering zone. Apply silver brazing flux. Bigger work pieces must be preheated right through over a wide area, until the flux runs like water. Place the rod on the joint and melt off a small drop, which is then spread out or drawn along with the flame.
