A basic coated low hydrogen, Low alloy steel electrode depositing weld metal having about 1.6 percent Nickel which is very tough and ductile. The electrode works in all position and deposited weld metal has radiographic quality. Because of special basic coating, diffusible hydrogen in the weld metal is very low, not exceeding 4.0 ml/ 100g of weld metal.
For welding C-Mn steels such as 16MnDR, A516 Gr70, for welding of pressure vessels, bridges, pipe line construction, etc.
REDRYING TEMPERATURE :350°C/ 2hrs
DIFFUSIBLE HYDROGEN IN THE WELD METAL :max 4ml/100g of weld metal.
