WELDING PROPERTIES :

A basic coated all position, Iron powder type electrode depositing 1.25 Cr/ 0.5 Mo in the weld. Welds are of radiographic quality. It has excellent creep and heat resistance properties upto 550-600°C.

TYPICAL USES :

  • For welding SA 387 Cr12 CL2 material.
  • For welding of 1 Cr / 0.5 Mo and similar creep resistance steels like ASTM A182-2, F11, FE12A A 387-2, 11, 12; A213-T2, T11, 12A; A-335-P2, P11, 12 and German Steel 13 Cr Mo 44, 15 Cr Mo 5 etc.
  • Suitable for use in chemical and petrochemical industries where resistance to hydrogen attach, corrosion from sulphur bearing crude oil and stress corrosion cracking in environment is required.
  • Also for repairing of high tensile castings - SA 387 Gr.11 plate, SA 335 P11 pipes.

DIFFUSIBLE HYDROGEN CONTENT IN THE WELD METAL : Max 4.0 cc/100g.
